Kara Morris

Kara, a licensed esthetician and business owner, operates with the true passion to make it all about you! Kara feels blessed to have found a career that helps people feel good about themselves and she strives to make her clients look and feel their very best. She does this by,not only using her top of the line skills and equipment, but by educating her clients of the importance and benefits of being healthy both inside and out. Working with clients of all ages and skin types, Kara accomplishes this by making an individualized plan, tailored to achieve her clients desired results (whether it be clearing acneic, blemished skin or reversing the signs of aging, sun damaged skin). Kara and staff are up on the latest and greatest products, protocols, and facial equipment all with continuous education and certifications. This includes her top of the line facial equipment and state of the art laser machines.

As a local Bayport-Blue Point graduate, Kara went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Business & Marketing from Johnson & Wales University in 2004. Upon graduating she then went to work as a sales manager for a Fortune 500 company. After four years she woke up to realize she wasn't doing what she loved. What was her passion? Her answer, "helping others feel good about themselves." Kara faced and overcame her own self esteem issues when it came to the management of her skin and wanted to share the impact skin care made on her with anyone facing similar issues. So, she continued her education and went on to attend NYIB,graduating in 2008. That same year, Kara took the bold, brave risk and opened her own two treatment room spa as the only therapist. Nine years later, seven treatment rooms later, nine therapists later and with hard work and dedication, her dreams have come true.

In her spare time Kara likes spending time with her family and friends, being active outdoors, traveling, and good food.

She is beyond grateful to all of her supportive and loving clients, family, and friends for their continued trust and loyalty, and looks forward to the coming years and serving all of the valued clients of KarasMatic Day Spa, present and future.

Upon graduation in late December 2008, he learned of John F. Vince has achieved the expert level of training in MFR after having taken all 16 MFR seminars offered by John F. Barnes and has repeated several of the seminars. He has assisted Mr. Barnes at his seminars and also assists in the monthly study groups for MFR therapists on Long Island.

TM was brought to the West from India by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1958 and since then over seven million people from all over the world have learned this powerful technique for self development. TM is a simple, natural and effortless technique that allows the mind to quickly settle down to a deep state of rest while remaining awake. This restful alertness allows the mind and body to naturally throw off deep rooted stresses that gives its amazing benefits. Hundreds of scientific research studies show that daily practice of TM can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, give clearer thinking and profoundly benefit practitioners in virtually every area of life. What makes TM unique and special is that it is simple, natural and effortless to practice and easy to learn.

In addition to being a massage therapist, expert MFR therapist and certified TM teacher, Vince is an AyurVeda trained health professional through the Maharishi AyurVeda Association of America (MAAA) having completed the training program in spring 2015.
